Gallahand Intelligence

Intelligence, with a hand in the physical world.

We are an intelligence firm. We build the systems inside the assets that already run, carrying a decision from the model to the machine, the corridor and the meter. Then we operate them inside the companies we build and back.

The thesis

Capital becomes intelligence in a quarter. It becomes a transformer in years.

That gap is the defining opportunity of this decade. Models improve on a software clock. Mines, grids, fleets and farms move on a physical one. Value collects where the two clocks meet: where a prediction has to become an action, and an action has to show up on a bill.

Most firms own one side of that join and hand off at the boundary. That handoff is where physical AI programmes stall: the pilot that never leaves the lab, the agent nobody will let near a breaker, the fleet whose utilisation was never measured. Gallahand is built to own the handoff.

Intelligence Meets Resistance

The stack

Four layers. One accountable system.

Every physical system worth automating resolves into the same four layers. We work across all of them, so nothing gets lost between them.

01Intelligence Decides.

Models, agents, evaluation and the policy envelope around them. Model agnostic by design and opinionated about everything else: what an agent may touch, what it must prove first, and which decisions stay with a person.

02Bits Knows.

Telemetry, state and memory. A live, queryable picture of what every asset is doing now and did last season, stored where its owner decides and under the jurisdiction its owner chooses.

03Atoms Acts.

Vehicles, drones, plant, pumps and chargers. Inference sits where the asset sits, because control loops have deadlines and remote links drop. We architect and select hardware with partners across the United States and Asia. We never resell the box.

04Electrons Pays.

Generation, storage, charge and load. Energy is the binding constraint on every physical programme and its largest operating cost. Nobody can conjure a substation. You can move the load, schedule the charge and sell the surplus.

Intelligence → Bits

Verification

An output becomes an input only after it is measured. The evaluation harness ships before the agent does.

Bits → Atoms

Authority

Bounded tools, explicit limits and a human gate on anything irreversible. The envelope is part of the product.

Atoms → Electrons

Scheduling

Asset hours and energy cost per unit of work are set by the schedule. That is where a physical business earns its margin.

Platforms

Five systems. One intelligence underneath.

Each platform runs one layer of the stack and draws on the same core. We show what they do. How they do it stays in the room.

Logistics intelligence

Every truck is a balance sheet in motion.

Fuel moves with events no fleet controls, cargo walks at the roadside, drivers tire at hour eleven, and the insurer prices all of it into next year's premium. We put intelligence on the vehicle and in the control room, so each risk is seen at the edge and settled before it becomes a loss.

Representative footage with illustrative telemetry.

FuelThe line that moves.

Diesel is the largest cost after people, and it swings with events no fleet controls. Every litre has to be accounted for: burned, idled or taken.

TheftCargo walks.

Loads and fuel leave at stops, depots and in transit. A seal that only proves tampering after the fact is evidence, not protection.

SafetyHour eleven.

Fatigue and distraction cause the crashes that end careers and contracts. Cameras that cry wolf get switched off.

Cold chainForty warm minutes.

A load that drifts out of range is a write-off and a compliance event. Most fleets find out at the dock.

ElectrificationTwo fuels, one schedule.

Mixed fleets need diesel and electrons planned together, or the savings disappear into idle chargers and missed slots.

L/001

Driver safety

Edge vision for fatigue, distraction and phone use, with fewer false alarms, so drivers keep the system on. Near misses and incidents arrive with video.

L/002

Cargo integrity

Electronic seals, door and weight events, and video at every stop. Theft, swapping and unauthorised unloading are flagged as they happen.

L/003

Fuel control

Tank level, refuels and distance reconciled per trip. Unexplained drops trigger camera verification, and refuels are checked against receipts.

L/004

Cold chain

Temperature, humidity and door state per zone, dock to dock. Each delivery closes with a record the retailer and the auditor can both read.

L/005

Corridor security

Geofenced routes, sentry mode at rest stops, and AETOS overwatch at depots and yards. A person decides, with the evidence in front of them.

L/006

Energy and charge

CALIBURN plans charge and diesel on one schedule as fleets electrify, against tariff, duty cycle and the next shift.

Overlay, not rip and replace. Existing cameras and trackers bridge into the edge unit, so a fleet adds intelligence without stripping out its installed base or its current provider.

Two weeks to a new scenario. A risk specific to your operation is calibrated, trained and pushed to the fleet over the air in about two weeks, then measured against the false-alarm rate before it goes wide.

AETOS · Autonomous site awareness

The perimeter no one is watching.

Remote infrastructure is not under-secured because operators are careless. The geometry is impossible. Perimeters run for kilometres, response arrives by vehicle, and copper, fuel and cable leave before anyone is looking.

Simulated patrol. One operating picture: every asset, every event, one timeline, the same truth for the control room, the response team and the underwriter.

    Persistent, not periodic

Aircraft launch on schedule and on trigger from a sealed dock at the site. Coverage does not depend on who is awake.

    Classified at the edge

Human, vehicle, animal or thermal anomaly is resolved on the aircraft, so the link carries decisions rather than video.

    One system of record

Every flight, detection and response is written to an evidentiary timeline, exportable for insurers, boards and inquiries.

    Doctrine

    Four steps, ninety seconds.

    1. 01DetectA thermal or motion signature crosses the perimeter geofence. The aircraft is already airborne on patrol.
    2. 02ClassifyEdge inference separates human from animal and vehicle from vegetation. Nuisance alarms never reach the control room.
    3. 03DispatchA confirmed detection opens a tasking with position, track and live feed pushed to the response team.

Deployment begins with a survey: perimeter geometry, threat history, the existing control room and flight approvals. We return a coverage plan, a dock siting and a fixed monthly figure.

Flights are run by licensed operators under the aviation rules of each jurisdiction. Payload specification is indicative pending final airframe selection.

    Domains

    Where the stack lands.

Physical industries share one trait. The operator already knows which number is costing them most. We report against it in physical units, not percentages.

    Energy and the grid

peak kW · kWh per unit of work

Charging networks, storage and distributed generation run as one balancing layer, predicted against the utility curve, with surplus and carbon accounted as revenue.

    Fleets and logistics

utilisation hours · cost per km

Heavy logistics first: buses, trucks and haul. Dispatch, charge scheduling and maintenance handled as one connected problem instead of three vendors.

    Mining and mineral corridors

tonnes moved · chain of custody

From pit to port. Fleet, energy and throughput joined to the document trail that proves where material came from and where it went.

    Agriculture

yield per hectare · water per tonne

Sensing, irrigation, machinery and market timing combined into one operating picture of the season, from planting to sale.

    Security and aerial autonomy

time to detect · area per operator

Drone and sensor networks over perimeters, sites and corridors. Machines watch continuously, and a person holds every irreversible decision.

    Industrial plant

cost per unit · unplanned downtime

An error rate that is fine in a chat window is catastrophic on a line. Verification gets an owner on the org chart before anything leaves pilot.

    Private intelligence infrastructure

    data residency · switching time

Models on your compute, inside your perimeter, behind your own gateway. Changing a model provider becomes a configuration change, not a rewrite.

GallahandThe accountable layer joining all of them

Each of these firms is excellent at its own layer. Some own the model, some own the machine, a few own the companies. None of them owns the join between all of them, or carries a stake in the outcome. We work with most of them, not against them. Models are interchangeable by design and hardware is a partnership. The one thing we keep in house is the join, because that is the only place accountability can sit.

    The capital layer

    One intelligence. Many companies.

Most intelligence firms sell a deployment and leave. We pipe the same intelligence layer into every company in our ecosystem and stay. Each deployment trains the next.

    Operators first

Built by people who have run the thing.

Our founders built companies and made them run without them. The intelligence layer comes out of that work, and it is tested on our own balance sheet before it reaches anyone else's.

    Investors second

    The instrumentation is the evidence.

The telemetry that runs an asset also underwrites it. Utilisation and unit economics, per asset and per period, from primary data. A credit committee reads it the same way an operator does.

    Compounding by design

    Owned once, installed many times.

Code, models and operating playbooks are held in one place. A new company inherits the full stack on day one, and every company it joins makes the stack sharper.

An asset that can prove its numbers finances on different terms from one that cannot.

    Partner firm

SelfBuiltSystems builds the growth and AI systems on the commercial side of the same ecosystem. Gallahand runs the intelligence underneath it.

    How we build

    Parametric, not improvised.

    Define the space first

Name the variables, set the bounds, then let the machine explore only that space. An unconstrained model returns the average, and the average is free.

    Verification before autonomy

Prompts, tools, routes and outcomes stay inspectable. Intelligence you cannot audit is intelligence nobody will insure.

    Judgment stays human

Machines carry the scheduling, the balancing and the watching. Every system names the decisions a person keeps and puts the state they need in front of them.

    Sovereign by default

Your data, your weights, your jurisdiction. Routed across many models and dependent on none, with a warm fallback and a switching drill on the calendar.

    2. 02InstrumentTelemetry, asset state and the evaluation harness, before any agent acts.
    3. 03BoundAuthority limits, human gates and fallbacks. This is what gets a system past pilot.
    4. 04OperateWe run it with you on your numbers, so it compounds instead of decaying.

    Why the name

    The point of contact.

Of the knights who went looking for the Grail, Galahad was the one who reached it. We kept the knight and added the hand: the part of intelligence that touches the world.

A model that cannot reach a machine is an opinion. Our work is the reach. The mark says the same thing: a field of intelligence, and the one point where it meets the ground.

Galahad the one who arrives+ hand the part that acts.si where it is heading

    Briefings

    We do not run outbound.

Most of our work arrives by introduction, from operators and investors who read the thinking and recognised their own constraint in it. If that is you, send the constraint, not a brief.

    • 01The asset, and what it is supposed to produce.
    • 02The number that is costing you most: utilisation, energy cost, downtime, error rate or cycle time.
    • 03Where you operate, and whose compute you depend on.
    • 04What has to work first.
